Got questions?
We've got answers.

Everything you need to know about riding, renting, and driving with TiGo — Tobago's first island-born ride-share app.

About TiGo

The basics.

A quick introduction before you dive into the details.

What is TiGo?
TiGo is Tobago's first dedicated ride-share app — built right here on the island, for the people of Tobago and the visitors who love it. Beyond rides, TiGo also offers Vehicle Rentals, E-Bike Rentals, and Concierge bookings, all right in the same app.
Who's behind TiGo?
TiGo is Tobago-based and locally owned, founded by someone who saw firsthand how frustrating it can be to find reliable transport on the island. Locally owned, locally operated, and built with the Tobago community at its heart.
Where does TiGo operate?
TiGo operates across Tobago — from Crown Point and the airport to Scarborough, Plymouth, Buccoo, Speyside, Charlotteville, and everywhere in between.
Booking a ride

Getting from A to B.

What to expect when you book, and how your fare is worked out.

What ride options can I choose from?
TiGo offers four tiers: Standard for everyday trips, Premium for extra comfort, XL for larger groups, and XXL for big groups and airport transfers. See the full fare breakdown for each tier on our Rates page.
How much will my ride cost?
Every tier has a published base fare, per-mile rate, and per-minute rate. You'll always see an upfront fare estimate in the app before you confirm — no haggling, no surprises.
How does the referral program work?
Share TiGo with a friend and you both win. When your friend signs up with your referral link and completes their first paid ride, you each get $5 in wallet credit. See our Refer a Friend Terms for full details.
Rentals & Concierge

More than just a ride.

Wheels, e-bikes, and fully planned itineraries — all bookable in the app.

Can I rent a vehicle or e-bike through TiGo?
Yes. Vehicle Rentals start from TT$350/day, and E-Bike Rentals start from TT$180/hour — guided tours are coming soon. These are separate services from booking a ride; availability, type, and exact pricing are always shown in the app before you confirm.
What is TiGo Concierge?
TiGo Concierge is our pre-arranged transportation and itinerary service, starting from TT$1,500 per booking — ideal for full-day tours, multi-stop itineraries, or fully planned trips. Reach out on WhatsApp or in the app to arrange one.
Payments

Paying for your trip.

How payment works today, and what's coming next.

How do I pay for my ride?
You can pay in cash directly to your driver at the end of the trip, or with your TiGo wallet. To use your wallet, top it up with a card in the app beforehand — that credit is then used to pay for your rides. Rides aren't charged straight to a card; card payments go through your wallet first.
Is topping up my wallet by card secure?
Yes. Wallet top-ups run through a secure, bank-hosted payment page — TiGo never stores your card details.
i

Cash and TiGo wallet are both live at launch. To pay by card, top up your wallet in the app first — that credit then covers your rides.

Safety

Your safety comes first.

Every driver is vetted before they ever pick up a rider.

Is TiGo safe?
Safety is our top priority. Every TiGo driver is fully vetted — valid driver's licence, registered vehicle, insurance, and a police certificate of character. You'll see your driver's name, photo, and rating before they arrive, and can track your ride live from pickup to drop-off.
What if I have an issue during or after a ride?
Reach out any time on WhatsApp or at support@tigoridestt.com — our team is based right here in Tobago and ready to help.
For drivers

Driving with TiGo.

What you earn, what you need, and what you're agreeing to.

How much do I earn as a driver?
TiGo takes a 15% commission per ride — you keep 85% of every fare.
Can I offer more than just rides?
Yes. Approved drivers can also opt in to offer E-Bike Rentals and Concierge bookings alongside standard rides. Ask us on WhatsApp about enrolling.
When and how do I get paid?
For cash rides, you collect your fare directly from the rider at the end of every trip. For rides paid with wallet credit (topped up by the rider's card), that fare is remitted to you on a regular schedule.
What documents do I need to apply?
A valid driver's licence, vehicle registration, insurance certificate, and a police certificate of character. You'll upload these directly in the TiGo Driver app.
Can I set my own hours?
Absolutely. You go online when you want and offline when you don't — no minimum hours, no fixed schedules.
What am I agreeing to as a driver?
When you sign up to drive, you agree to both our Terms of Service and the Driver Service Agreement, which covers commission, settlement, payouts, and your responsibilities as a driver in full. Please read both before applying.
